• Camera and Microphone Data: FluentPitch requires access to your device's camera and microphone to conduct mock interviews.
• Interview Recordings: With your explicit permission, we record video and audio locally during your practice sessions. These recordings may be saved to your device's native Photo Library if you choose to export them.
• Biometric & Behavioral Data: Our application analyzes your body language, eye contact, and posture during the interview to provide actionable feedback.

C. Usage Data

• We collect standard analytical information about how you interact with the app, including session durations, feature usage, and error logs, to help us improve the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is strictly used to provide and improve the core functionality of FluentPitch:

• AI Analysis: Your audio responses and behavioral data are processed by our backend AI models to generate transcripts, assess your performance, and provide personalized coaching feedback.
• Account Management: To maintain your profile, secure your account, and provide customer support.
• Service Improvement: To analyze aggregate, anonymized usage trends to fix bugs and develop new features.

3. Data Processing and Storage

• Third-Party Services: We utilize secure third-party infrastructure (such as Supabase for database and authentication, and Azure Web Apps for our backend APIs) to process and store your data.
• AI Processing: Audio transcripts and performance metrics are sent to our secure backend servers to generate your AI feedback report.
• Local Storage: Video recordings of your interviews are primarily processed and stored locally on your device unless explicitly uploaded or exported by you.

4. Permissions We Request

To function properly, FluentPitch requests the following device permissions:

• Camera: To analyze body language and eye contact.
• Microphone: To capture your verbal responses.
• Photo Library: To allow you to upload a profile picture or save your recorded practice sessions.

You can revoke these permissions at any time via your device settings, though doing so will limit the app's core functionality.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, and secure Row-Level Security (RLS) database policies, to protect your personal data and interview histories from unauthorized access.
